Journey Prize update

Mark your calendars: The Journey Prize Stories 22, in which my story "The Dead Dad Game" will be featured, goes on sale September 28. The three finalists will be announced shortly thereafter, and the winner (me???) will be announced in late November, as part of the Writers' Trust of Canada Great Awards event in Toronto.

To celebrate this bookishness, I present the following guide to author name pronunciation, which has been circling around these here internets (click to embiggen, and then possible click again to embiggen some more):

  2. So much for my blog anonymity!

I really want to WIN. Although I will practice saying, "It was an honour just being nominated."
