The contract is a success! The only thing the Client wanted to change was his delivery date, which is fine (and totally anticipated) by me. Plus, he's given me two extra weeks on the other end, so no problem at all. AND it looks like I might have some proofreading work coming up with a translation/editing house. AND I've just pitched three new stories to THE ANONYMOUS MAGAZINE here, one more to a Toronto magazine, and something to the Globe and Mail.
Hooray for jobs, real and potential!
It could have been so much worse...
