Rapperswil, and the living is easy

Too bad the photography isn't! Really, the main problem is that we have lost the camera cable, and just can't find it anywhere. We have tossed the house, turned the cushions, we even biked 32 kms today, and still no camera cable..... do you ever have one of those moments where you don't realize how obvious something is until you say it? That "a-ha!" moment, rolling off your tongue before your brain catches up!?!? Well, thinking about the camera just now, I just realized... drum roll please.... silence, silence.... the camera cable is decidedly not 32 kms away, down at the other end of the Zurichsee. I think it may have been really stupid to bike all the way there.

Oh well, at least we got to enjoy a beautiful fall day:

And a lovely castle in the picturesque Medieval village of Rapperswil:

And this couple, who was everywhere we wanted to be:

Swiss Miss wished she had as much junk in her trunk as this woman did. But her pose was not as saucy as we all had hoped for:

But really, I am not sure what we were more amazed by: the ride, the trunk, the view, or the castle. Maybe the deer grazing in the protective enclosure beside the castle:

This is what happens when you lose your camera cable, and have to use pictures from the internet to make up shit about your so-called exciting life.

Swiss Mister, signing out.
