We're heading there this evening for a weekend in Dutchland (nicht Deutschland). It might be a bit early for Tulpen -- that's "tulips" in German, and yes, that capital T should be there -- but at least the weather's looking a bit better than it was earlier in the week:
One year ago this weekend we were in New York (getting engaged!), and then we were moving to Switzerland. Since our arrival in der Schweiz, we have travelled 49,952km to a bunch of destinations. More than the circumference of the earth. Our carbon footprint will end us all.Happy weekending, Bloggership. We'll see you on Sunday.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy Amsterdam! I have many good memories from there. Try the Heineken tour! It is really fun. The key is to be there early so you get more time in the beer hall at the end. Take a tour on the canals, laugh at the extreme selection of snacks and cravings close to the coffeeshops, be amazed at the Van Gogh museum and have a wonderful time you two lovebirds!
