Reader(s) of the Week: Matt and Isis!

While we were off gallivanting in London, our friends back on the homefront were helping us with our wedding... This time in the form of receiving a very unruly (and unexpectedly expensive!) package of secret wedding goods. But it certainly isn't the first time these friends have helped us out. No, sir.

They opened their home to us not once, but TWICE in the last several months -- and we are the kind of houseguests who explode into the Rumpus/Craft Room within about 30 seconds of arrival. They have made us 1) feel at home, 2) feel loved, and 3) dinner on more occasions than we can list here. They are also faithful presences in the blogosphere, and active emailers. They make being across the pond easier and better in so many ways.

Thank you, Matt and Isis!
You are our Reader(s) of the Week!

This picture comes to you from Team MIsis -- as part of their announcement that they are now getting married! (Maybe it's catching?) We hope that, even though we are far away, we will be able to help you with your big day as much as you've helped us with ours.

May the fourth be with you.

  1. Aw, hey, that's very sweet! Readers of the week? I don't know what to say! I didn't prepare a speech or anything...

We love having you stay with us (especially when you don't fight) and you are welcome to stay with us anytime. You will be pleased to know I am also on the hunt for a second-hand (i.e. not expensive) espresso machine so if you are lucky we might have our own Saeco Barista next time you explode in our rumpus room!

  2. You don't have a speech? Tell me Isis has a gown for the awards ceremony, though...

To quote Inder, another illustrious reader of the week, "Can you imagine how long wedding planning would take if you DIDN'T fight? You'd never get anything done!"

Good luck with the coffee machine! Ian sends his prayers.
