Relocation agents -- sucking the life right out of you, the world over

Just last night we were talking about possible next steps and future moves. This morning, we came across this article, reminding us how much relocation sux.

Click to embiggen:Anyone remember the Steinhausen Saga? As bad as that would have been (very, very, very bad, in case you were wondering), it would have been temporary. These people in NYC are looking at permanent moves to permanently crappier/more expensive quarters. It seems their relocation agents are no better at addressing their needs than ours were. If only we had pictures of some of the "suitable" places we were shown. It is verging on a miracle that we found our apartment (on the internet!) on our own. Zurich may not be 100% perfect, but it's pretty darned good, especially when one considers the horrors of Steinhausen.

    Relocation Agents: Another group that should be collectively taken out back, SHOT and P---ed on. A bunch of self serving, myopic,pea brained idiots. Good on you two for telling them where to shove their initial recommendations.
