iphone has agreed to let us post! Honestly, life without Internet is a drag. We heard that the EU is making Internet an essential service, and I can definitely see why! No Skype, no email, no banking... It's like we're back in the early (fifteenth-century) days of our apartment, just with the luxury of runnng water and (some) ele tri. Lights
Why some? We have co tinued to blow up/melt carious electronic devices. The latest casualty was the transformer that governs the microphone lamp in the living room. Luckily, the lamp remains unscathed... We hope we have ended the cycle of destruction with our trip to the Spreitenbach IKEA today (the largest ikea in Switzerland, I'll have you know). Now we have light fixtures, lamps, closets (which seem to be sorely lacking in Europe), and a bodum for ian's coffee addiction. Plus, the handyman a d the electrician came todaytofix a bunch of stuff...all if which -- us an ikea car rental -- was taxing on the german, but we. Uddked through. Then I had to abandon Swiss mister in favour if german schule, be he was left to navigate the crazy streets if Zurich AND haul all our purchases upstairs! For reference, I could. Arely wheel our overloaded carts (x4). Never a dull moment in switzerville...
Tomorrow we are going to a. Networking event in lausanne... We will try to keep in touch ..in future with fewer typos.
