Q: How do you level a bed in a fifteenth-century apartment?

A: Not with crappy pieces of cut-up moving boxes!

We didn't really take the significant compression factor of cardboard into account, and we are back to sliding down the bed. Thank you, crazily crooked floors!
Any suggestions? This weekend is our Home Improvement Bonanza, and I fear the solutions we will come up with on our own...
