Protests, riots squads in Zurich today

It's Workers' Day here in Zurich, and you'd think there might be some sort of delightful festival. Instead, there are protesters and riot squads in the streets -- water cannons, tear gas, rubber bullets, etc.Before anyone gets too worried, my understanding is that this happens every year on May 1, and it's kind of no biggie. Decidedly bizarre, but no cause for real concern...
