Here are some shots from our impromptu exploration of nearby Luzern...
This is the Kapellbrucke (sorry, that "U" should have an umlaut...), aka Chapel Bridge. It's Luzern's most famous landmark, and it was built in 1333!

...and then made it back to Zurich just in time for a massive thunderstorm! Zurich is an incredibly rainy city -- it rains at least once a day, I swear to Gott -- and we were caught sans parapluie.
Where should we go next weekend, Bloggership? Methinks somewhere hot and requiring an airplane...also somewhere that doesn't have a national love of sausage meats. (Don't tell Swiss Mister: this is my Secret Date Night).
