La revolucion is this case is our overthrowing of the Swiss crazynesa, on favour of some Spanish crazynesa for the weekend.... Yes faithful readers, we went to Majorca foe a fun-in-the-sun weekend away. We let saying that one one of the thingsww wanted to do whole in Europe was travel to the places that were now so close, be with the last two weeks getting a bit stressful (read: a Llot stressful) we decided that now was time. Well that and we got tickets plus hotel for just over 300 each, barely a air of Swiss jeans!
Today was a great day! We woke up to bluebird skies, ate the hotel complementary breakfast, got a rental Fiat Panda delivered to the hotel, and then went a-beaching! First was Es Tranc, a 3km stretch of white sand with few Germans and even fewer bathing suits. We lounged and swam and played a game of Scabble there till 1 (hb Swiss
Missua killed me, scoring 360+ !!!) . A beachside mhut served us a great paella and then we were off to Cala Mondrago, a little hideaway of an emerald blue cove another half hour down the coast. If I could post pictures I would, but for now you will have to take my word for it... It was fantastically nice.
We ended the day with dinner on a Drake-Hotel-meets-blue-ocean-sunset deck, tuna for the mister and a half lobster for the delighted missus. Now we are back safely in our hotel, plotting tomorrow and resting our rosy bodies.
All is not bad here after all.
