Another day, another housing blitz!

Don't worry, readership, this is not because our place has fallen through... yet. It's just that we have been warned that deals do fall through in the London rentals market, and so having a Plan B is a good idea. And so, while Swiss Miss was slaving away over a hot charity desk, I saw six more apartments today. Here is my whistlestop tour:

1. Blythe Road, Kensington Olympia. Crack house or charming fixer-upper? You decide!

2. Westwick Gardens, Kensington Olympia. Split-level flat or carpet wholesaler? You decide!

3. Sinclair Road, Kensington Olympia. Garden flat or bridge troll den? You decide!
Except you don't, because the bridge troll looked at me funny when I pulled out the camera.

4. Hilary Road, East Acton. Three-bed house or filthy student crash pad? I decide: both.
(for the record, this is the master bedroom. The vents in the closet door are for the boiler, which is... in the closet.)

5. Carver Close, Acton Green. Cute little in-fill or the last house standing in a field of apartment blocks? You decide!

6. Silver Crescent, Gunnersbury. Cozy little haven or Pottery Barn showroom? You decide!

We are aiming to close the deal on the other place in the next day or two, so hopefully this search will just serve as fodder for a possible future shopping spree. For now, fingers crossed... and hands washed of flat hunting for the time being!
