Our new house?

Looks like Beachcruizer's comment from the last entry was a good omen: we HAVE found a fabulous flat with lots of charm! And just in time, too: our relocation agent called us today to tell us she was coming up with nothing fast. Good on us! Maybe this will be our new house???

A stunning two double bedroom split level garden flat in this popular location within half a mile of Chiswick Park Tube and the many shops and restaurants of the High Road. The property offers a large modern eat in kitchen with wood floors and doors to a private garden, lovely bright reception room with period features and fireplace, tiled shower room and double bedroom. On the 2nd floor is a spacious master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large roof terrace.

You read that right, Bloggership: private garden (not pictured) AND upstairs terrace off the master bedroom. Banana heaven???

The offer goes in tomorrow. We'll keep you posted...

  2. pimpadellic! Looks like a swinging pad to me. All you need now is a BBQ for that roof and you're smokin! (mind the pun...hardy har har)

  3. This property is to rent, though we are still keen to buy in the not-too-distant future. So, definitely a great-for-now type of situation, and we won't feel rushed about our permanent house search.

Arieh, I am thinking barbecues on the balcony AND ground floor garden area -- barbecue anytime, barbecue all the time! ;)

  5. Our offer was accepted! At £15 per week less than the listed price! We agreed to an eight-month break clause (we have to live there for eight months minimum, and provide two months' notice when we want to leave) instead of the six months we wanted, but it was a small concession, especially considering that the landlord is repainting, putting new carpet in the spare bedroom, and leaving us the pots (sans dead plants) for our balcony.

There may be a few more bumps in the road yet, but our relocation agent Jane is amazing: she's got the landlord to take the property off the market! He can still back out up until we move in, but I don't think that's going to happen.

    Yaaaaay!

  6. Ok, first off THIS my dears, is a BIG UPGRADE from the Zuri pad! Although it was charming and well located in the cobblestone streets of downtown... THIS is AMAZING ;) Fingers crossed that it comes through, otherwise the PB showroom is a great Plan B :)

Can't wait to come visit! Happy moving!
