Dear Bus 27,

This is a love letter to you, Bus 27. In a city known for its crazy commutes, you are a double-decker dream of a ride. In a mere twenty minutes, you whisked me from my door (just about) to my door (just about), and you gave me a tour of the city, all for the low, low cost of £1.10!

You are way better than the tube, which is variously hot, crowded, delayed, and ill-temper-making.

You made my first day on the job absolutely delightful.

Looking forward to tomorrow,
The Missus

PS -- On an unrelated note, here is the picture Raging Ray was discussing in his comment yesterday. Cheers!

  2. Cool pic of the fire-engine red bus :) LOVE the flat! Livin' it up Luxe style for your first month- not too shabby! Too bad we won't be able to visit while you're there... but I'm sure you'll find a fabulous flat with lots of charm! Can't wait!!!

And hi, Beachcruizer. We'll get good and settled in our permanent place, and then you'll HAVE to come for a visit! NO MORE EXCUSES.
