Parc du Milan was a lovely setting, but all the same I (Swiss Miss) elected not to play... After a night of carousing, the brief run to the train in Cully was about as much physical activity as I could handle at 9:00am on a Sunday morning!!! (What is wrong with the MBAs of 2009? Methinks they are underworked and overslept!) Instead, I was the designated photographer for the event.

There was also the small matter of not wanting to compete against Euro/South American/African football superstars. This is not the soccer of scuffing our shoes in Bickford Park before going to the Vic -- these IMD dudes mean business! (Pun intended.)

Swiss Mister was brave, though, and only suffered one knock-down, Euro-style hit. His neck is still sore, but his pride has recovered. Can you spot the Ian sporting in this picture? (As always, click to embiggen.)

Oh, yeah. Teamwork. That's what they were working on last year, the high fives.

MBAs 2008 and 2009. And Swiss Mister, proudly sporting the IMD-nerd hat.

Wow, I fail to check your blog for a couple of days and look what happens! Bread parades, burning things, football, German lessons. I need to figure out how that RSS stuff works, or just quit my job to commit to your blog, full time!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's hard to keep up with these guys with all the learning of German and kicking of soccer balls going on. If this is what life in Zurich is like, I want to move there.
